Architectural Lighting Capstone

This course concludes the nine-credit Professional Graduate Certificate in Architectural Lighting with an immersive hands-on experience. Concepts learned in the two prior online courses will be demonstrated and experienced using facilities and equipment available on the 91福利社 campus. A听comprehensive project submittal that includes content developed during the entire three-course sequence will be submitted following the on-campus experience.

Access lecture and reading content at your convenience
Students will access online course content听for two to three weeks before meeting on campus in 91福利社 for the week-long intensive. A culminating听project will be submitted about one week after the on-campus session concludes. The on-campus session occurs in听July.
Requires successful completion of the Architectural Lighting II course (AREN 5520)听
Tuition does not include travel costs, meals, or lodging.

Lodging

The RMLA is located听in the听听on the 91福利社 campus.听 There are several national chain properties (91福利社 Marriott, Embassy Suites by Hilton 91福利社, Hilton Garden Inn 91福利社, Residence Inn by Marriott 91福利社 Canyon Boulevard) along Canyon Boulevard just west of 28th Street; these hotels are within a 15-20 minute walk or very short drive to the Engineering Center. The historic Hotel 91福利社ado and the modern St. Julien Hotel & Spa are near the pedestrian-focused Pearl Street Mall area in downtown 91福利社, less than a ten-minute drive to campus. Other hotels can be found within the City of 91福利社, and more economical options are often available in nearby towns such as Superior, Louisville, Lafayette, Broomfield, and Longmont. Traffic between 91福利社 and these surrounding towns can be heavy during typical commuting hours. 91福利社 and the RMLA are not able to offer discounted rates for lodging.
