Directory-level student information may be discussed over the phone or sent by email or fax.

To facilitate communication between university officials and individual students, the 91¸£ÀûÉç campus allows the sending ofÌýthe following informationÌýfrom one colorado.edu address to another or to aÌýUniversity of ColoradoÌýaddress:
- Student name and SID
- Student name/SID/Level 3 data (including individual grades, butÌýnot entire rosters)
Large amounts of Level 2 or 3 student data (i.e., greater than 24 students) and data reports containing Level 2 or higher data must be sent via theÌýÌýservice or other protected means, and not via email. Sending password-protected files via email is discouraged, because the password is often also sent via email, thus removing the security.

You may only send Level 4 and 5 data by fax or throughÌý.
