Admitted Student Events

Admitted Student Session 1

Date: March 13, 2025

Time: 4 - 5 p.m. MT

Location: Zoom

This one-hour virtual session will allow newly admitted students to learn more about the program from individuals within it. In Session 1, you will have the opportunity to meet current first- and second-year students. We will have a student panel where admitted students can ask questions and connect with those in the program.Ìý

Date: March 20, 2025

Time: 4 - 5 p.m. MT

Location: Zoom

This one-hour virtual session will allow newly admitted students to learn more about the program from individuals within it. In Session 2, you will have the opportunity to meet our Capstone Lead, Alice Reznickova. Alice will share more about the Capstone Project, outcomes, and opportunities within this central part of our program. You will also have the chance to share the types of companies or groups you'd like for us to reach out to ahead of your Capstone Project.Ìý

This one-hour virtual session will allow newly admitted students to learn more about the program from individuals within it. In Session 3, MENV Enrollment Manager Liz Holland will go over resources available to students. We will talk about funding your education, finding housing, on- and off-campus resources, and more!Ìý

Time: 4 - 5 p.m. MT

Location: Zoom

This one-hour virtual session will allow newly admitted students to learn more about the program from individuals within it. In the Faculty Panel, students will have the chance to meet with Specialization Leads and learn more about their specialization. The first half of the session is dedicated Specialization break out sessions and the second half is dedicated to a larger group discussion across the Specializations.Ìý

Peer Mentorship Program

The Department of Environmental Studies Graduate Peer Mentorship Program connects new students with experienced peers to support their academic and professional journey. Peer mentors offer guidance on coursework, career paths, and work-life balance, fostering a strong community. Get involved as a mentee and build meaningful connections!
