What鈥檚 This All About?

It鈥檚 been two and a half years since ChatGPT emerged and reshaped the landscape of higher education. Are you still wondering how to address generative AI (gen AI) in your classroom? Curious about its impact on student learning? Looking for a supportive, low-pressure space to explore your approach?

Join ASSETT and the Center for Teaching & Learning for a two-day immersive studio focused on discovering your 鈥渞ight fit鈥 for integrating (or not integrating) AI in your teaching.

What You鈥檒l Do

This isn鈥檛 a lecture series鈥攊t鈥檚 an interactive design experience! Through workshops, breakouts, co-design activities, and talks with faculty and students, you鈥檒l:

  • Develop a practical, ready-to-implement AI strategy
  • Choose from three tracks: No Gen AI Use, Limited or Conditional Use, or Full Gen AI Use
  • Explore how to talk with students about AI in meaningful, inclusive ways
  • Co-create ideas with peers and student collaborators

Theme: Agency, Student Focus, Innovation, Transformation

  • Light Breakfast provided
  • Co-design in AI-use tracks
  • Lunch & Learn with Educational Technology Research Assistants (ETRAs)
  • Design your own 鈥淩ight Fit鈥 plan
  • Final showcase and closing reflection

Certification & Recognition

All participants will receive a Certificate of Completion that recognizes your time, thought leadership, and new skills in navigating AI in the classroom. Great for your CV, teaching dossier, or annual merit review.


Bring a Student (Optional)

Faculty are encouraged to register with a student partner (up to 10 pairs total). This is a unique opportunity to co-design approaches to AI that truly reflect both student and faculty voices.
