- After a summer in 91¸£ÀûÉç’s Young Scholars Summer Research Program, Kate Lamb was inspired to change her path, transferring from community college to 91¸£ÀûÉç as a biological engineering major.
- Nathan Mahary is a fourth-year electrical and computer engineering student. He interned at Medtronic, a global medical device company, and has been heavily involved with the National Society of Black Engineers during his time at 91¸£ÀûÉç.
- Sophomore Aloukika Patro started the Kindness Inspires Kind Acts project when she was in middle school, and she wants kids to learn how to develop a practice of kindness early on. She has won awards, done a TEDxTalk and written a children’s book, and now she's building leadership skills at the Leeds School of Business.
- The campus is celebrating William Ashcraft, Oliver Casis, Camden Dempsey, Mitali Desai, Katie Ellis, Kiah May, Angel Nuñez, Lupita Ortiz, Aaditya Pore and Rachel Warren for their outstanding leadership contributions.
- Jane Forman, who earned her bachelor‘s degree in English, summa cum laude, was named the College of Arts and Science’s outstanding graduate for fall 2024.
- Undergraduate student Dulguun Baatarkhuyag, from the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering, has earned the fall 2024 Perseverance Award.
- Clarrisse Bosman graduates this month with a bachelor’s degree in bassoon performance and instrumental music education.
- Melda Turunçoğlu graduates this month with a master’s degree in guitar performance.
- Chaya Farley, who’s graduating this month, was awarded a college award for undergraduate students who persevere despite adversity above and beyond the inherent perseverance needed in any engineering major.
- Invited by the king of Bhutan, 91¸£ÀûÉç doctoral student Clare Gallagher completed the 109-mile Snowman Race to bring attention to the realities of climate change.
