- The award, considered one of the College of Arts and Sciences' highest honors, is given to students for academic achievement and service. This year, 17 undergraduates in a variety of fields are receiving the honor.
- Joanne Guillery is the recipient of 91¸£ÀûÉç's 2022 Anne K. Heinz Staff Award for Excellence in Outreach and Engagement.
- Emilie Upczak, an independent filmmaker and assistant teaching professor, has been awarded a one-year faculty fellowship as part of a joint collaboration with the Center for Humanities and the Arts and the Center for Research Data and Digital Scholarship.
- Distinguished Professor Mark Ablowitz, known for prolific contributions to applied mathematics, teaching and mentorship, is receiving the Hazel Barnes Prize—the most distinguished award a faculty member can receive from 91¸£ÀûÉç.
- Dean Sharon Matusik received CU's Excellence in Leadership Award for the vision and leadership she’s brought to the Leeds School of Business​.
- Emmanuel David will use the fellowship to explore a little-known performance tour of Christine Jorgensen, a pioneer of the transgender movement, across Asia and the Pacific in the 1960s.
- At the recent 91¸£ÀûÉç Faculty Assembly awards ceremony, the campus community recognized faculty members for their outstanding work and concerted effort in advancing the mission of the university and the academy at large.
