Work in Student Affairs
On-campus student jobs offer the chance to work more closely with faculty and staff at our university. These people can become mentors and potentially lead to future internships or research opportunities. Additionally, faculty or staff supervisors can provide letters of recommendation or serve as professional references later. Through your student job, you can expand your professional network by getting to know your co-workers and supervisors.
Jobs in Student Affairs include:
Working at the Rec Center as an intramural sports official, lifeguard or fitness instructor.
Becoming a peer tutor in the Academic Success and Achievement Program (ASAP).
Joining the Peers Educating and Empowering Peers (PEEPs) team in the Center for Inclusion and Social Change.
Planning events in the Center for Student Involvement.
Helping campus community members get home safely as a driver/dispatcher for CU NightRide.
