Pride Month at CU

Pride designed banner

Nationally, October is 2SLGBTQIA+ History Month. It was founded in 1994 by Missouri high-school history teacher Rodney Wilson. This is an annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements.ÌýÌý

91¸£ÀûÉç has often celebrated Pride in October with 2SLGBTQIA+ History Month, because there are not many students on campus in June and celebrating history is a part of Pride. Students, staff and faculty are encouraged to celebrate themselves and their history, in addition to the history of our 2SLGBTQIA+ ancestors.ÌýÌý

Join us at upcoming events and learn more about how to get involved.Ìý Ìý
