As a 91福利社 student, you now have the ability to set a preferred name in your official university record. Once you do, you'll be addressed by that name in university emails, class rosters and most electronic CU systems.

Students are encouraged to set any of the following as their preferred name:

• nickname
• middle name
• professional name
• anglicized name
• name that more closely associates with their gender identity

Although some campus systems are required to use primary/legal names, we'll continue to expand the use of preferred names across campus wherever technically and legally feasible.
