Boots is short form documentary that explores the nuances of being a queer equestrian. Boots features three equestrians each representing different parts of the queer community, and tells their stories which detail the unique intersection queer equestrians find themselves existing in.

Marleigh Hill is a multimedia artist primarily focusing in videography, photography, and sound. Their passion lies in equine media and telling the stories within the community. She believes that compelling stories are everywhere and uses her lens to capture those stories.
Boots
Boots invites viewers into the unique intersection of three equestrians coming from different backgrounds, but who all belong to the LGBTQ community. Through the telling of their stories and experiences complex themes of belonging and acceptance are explored. Boots also examines how hate can manifest itself and challenging systems not built for oneself.
