Events Director
- Position Type: Student Assistant IIÌý
- Compensation: $17.25/hour for approximately 15 Hours/weekÌý

Ìý- Position Description: The Program Council Events Director is responsible for general oversight and management of all Program Council events and serves as the head of the event department/team. The Events Director manages a team of 3 events managers, directly manages large scale events (ex. Homecoming, Fall Comedy show, etc.), and indirectly oversees events including films, small concerts, comedy shows, and special/traditional events.ÌýÌýÌý
- This position requires prior experience with Program Council. This position will work irregular hours at times, including evenings, late nights, and weekends. Ìý

Marketing Director

- Position DescriptionÌý- The Program Council Marketing Director is responsible for general oversight and management of the Program Council marketing and communications and serves as the head of the marketing department/team. The Marketing Director manages a team of 2 managers, designers, and 10-20 volunteers, directly oversees the creation and implementation of Program Council brand standards and communication plans, and oversees graphic and multimedia designs, Program Council’s social media and website, merchandise, and Program Council recruitment.ÌýÌýÌý

Operations Director

Ìý- Position Description - The Program Council Operations Director is responsible for general oversight and management of the Program Council office space, business operations, and serves as the head of the office & operations department/team. The Operations Director manages the business manager and front desk staff, directly oversees the staffing and daily operation of the Program Council office, oversees all Program Council hiring processes, and oversees additional Program Council operations including finances, retreats, and staff development. The Operations Director is responsible for maintaining a high-level guest experience for all visitors to the Program Council office, whether students, press, or talent.ÌýÌý

Production Director

- Compensation: $17.25/hour for approximately 15 Hours/weekÌý

Ìý- Position Description: The Program Council Production Director is responsible for general oversight and management of all Program Council production and security services and serves as the head of the production department/team. The Production Director manages a team of 3 managers and 10-20 crew members, directly manages production and security needs for all large scale Program Council events and oversees all contracted production and security services for events. The Production Director is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service with student groups, campus departments, vendors, and professional performers and their teams to supply high quality production to fit the needs of events. The Production Director can expect to support events from start to finish including consulting and planning for production needs, constructing production equipment including stages and AV rigs, programming lights, mixing/mastering audio, managing Production Crew, and directing all load in and load out of events.Ìý

Special Events Manager
- Position Type: Student Assistant II
- Compensation: $17.00/hour for approximately 10 Hours/week
Ìý- Undergraduates only. Work Study preferred, but not required.
Ìý- Position Description: The Program Council Special Events Manager is responsible for the creation and implementation of one-off, new, and traditional events hosted by Program Council. The Special Events Manager will be responsible for all aspects of event planning including space reservations, budgeting, and executing events. They will work closely with the marketing team to ensure all marketing needs are met for all events. The Special Events Manager will work closely with CSI staff to plan and execute at least one large scale event on a Friday or Saturday night, once a month.

Film Series Manager

- Compensation: $17.00/hour for approximately 10 Hours/week

Ìý- Position Description: The Program Council Film Series Manager is responsible for the creation and implementation of a series of movies and film screenings. The Film Series Manager will be responsible for all aspects of event planning and implementation of the Film Series. They will work closely with the marketing team to ensure all marketing needs are met for all events. The Film Series Manager will work closely with the CSI Coordinator for Late Night Programming to plan for films to occur weekly on Friday nights.

Concert Series Manager
- Position Type: Student Assistant II
- Compensation: $17.00/hour for approximately 10 Hours/week
Ìý- Undergraduates only. Work Study preferred, but not required.
Ìý- Position Description: The Program Council Concert Series Manager oversees the development and implementation of a series of small local concerts and shows to occur either in Club 156 or Old Main. The Concert Series Manager will be responsible for all aspects of event management including space reservations, booking talent, and stage management. They will work closely with the production and marketing team to ensure all production and marketing needs are met for all events. The Concert Series Manager will also need to maintain positive working relationships with talent and managers to ensure a positive working relationship with performers. The Concert Series Manager will work closely with the CSI staff to plan and execute shows to occur at least 2 Thursdays or Saturdays a month.

Brand Manager
- Position Type: Student Assistant II
- Compensation: $17.00/hour for approximately 10 Hours/week
Ìý- Undergraduates only. Work Study preferred, but not required.
Ìý- Position Description: The Program Council Brand Manager is responsible for managing a team of 2 designers to develop and implement Program Council brand standards. The Brand Manager will directly oversee Program Council’s digital and print presence including management of the website, social media, newsletters, press releases and merchandise. This position is a key part of the PC marketing department and will require someone who can collaborate with colleagues, manage multiple projects at once, and assist with multimedia and graphic design as needed.

Production Crew Manager
- Position Type: Student Assistant II
- Compensation: $17.00/hour for approximately 10 Hours/week
Ìý- Undergraduates only. Work Study preferred, but not required.
Ìý- Position Description: The Production Crew Manager assists and oversees the planning and execution of various live events and concerts. They will work closely with the Production Director as they work with student groups, vendors, and professional performers and their teams to supply high quality production to fit the needs for a wide variety of events. This includes but is not limited to planning and building stages, planning, and building lighting rigs and audio systems, programing lights, mixing/mastering audio, training/scheduling Production Crew, directing all load in and load out of events, etc. The Production Crew Manager will also take on management of a separate of events at locations including events occurring in the University Memorial Center, Old Main, on-campus, and off campus events. These areas are subject to change over time, and each venue has different regulations and responsibilities for staff to keep in mind while providing production.

Business Manager

Ìý- Position Description: The Program Council Business Manager is responsible for maintaining responsibilities related to office staffing, in addition to general oversight of PC budget, revenues, and other business documents. The Business Manager plays a key role in Program Council to ensure that all departments have a strong understanding of their budget and revenue goals, while also directly supporting revenue by managing invoices across departments, setting ticket prices, and booking promotional events like brand activations by external vendors. This position will need to meet regularly with UMC and CSI finance professionals to ensure all financials are being properly managed.
