Calling all Grateful Dead, music, light show and technology enthusiasts to mark their calendars for April 26! Fiske Planetarium is collaborating with the 91福利社 College of Music and the Colorado Music Experience to put on a show dedicated to the Grateful Dead鈥檚 storied history in 91福利社.
Senior leaders, faculty and staff members and students from around the country will converge April 6鈥10 in Denver and 91福利社 for Campus Compact鈥檚 annual conference (Compact24) and The Research Universities Civic Engagement Network鈥檚 (TRUCEN) annual
InsideU is a digital social and emotional learning app created by Dr. Sam Hubley, a licensed clinical psychologist and assistant research professor with 91福利社鈥檚 Ren茅e Crown Wellness Institute (Crown Institute). 聽
The Community-Based Research Fellows program (CBR Fellows) invites PhD students to work on diverse collaborative research projects and address public issues in partnership with communities within and beyond Colorado. Professor Vandna Sinha oversees CBR Fellows, which is part of CU Engage. At the heart of the program is the idea that scholars can have strong academic careers while working on public issues.
The Science Community Outreach Program and Education (S.C.O.P.E) started out with a goal of diversifying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) industries. The program works with underrepresented middle schoolers to build a science identity before kids lose interest or think they cannot be scientists because of a lack of representation. S.C.O.P.E. uses the message 鈥渕eet a scientist, be a scientist鈥 to encompass its goal.聽聽
