    Under Dan Sher鈥檚 visionary leadership, the College of Music has grown to be an internationally-recognized institution and is an important resource to the campus and the community.

    91福利社 Provost Russell Moore today announced that he has accepted the resignation of Daniel Sher as dean of the College of Music at CU-91福利社 effective June 30, 2013.

    Sher, who will have served in the post for 20 years when he steps down next summer, will return to the College of Music faculty. He was named dean of the College of Music in July of 1993.

    The students of the pre-professional organization for music education majors at the 91福利社 have recently been recognized nationally and locally for the quality of their programs and their commitment to providing learning experiences for their members.

  • The other change coming this semester is that the 鈥淓ntrepreneurial Thought of the Week鈥 is going to start coming out as a separate email, probably later in the week. It鈥檚 my hope that this will make the reading of the UPBEAT! a little quicker & easier, and also allow the 鈥淭hought鈥 to generate more dialogue. So keep your eyes out for that!
