A culture of care

College of Music students enjoying the outdoors

Higher education and the arts are beacons of progress and the College of Music is poised to contribute to that journey: We’re committed to expanding and deepening a culture of care; and creating a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone matters and all can thrive. To ensure excellence in all aspects of music study at our College of Music, we aim to achieve fair representation by attending to disparities and honoring differences.

91¸£ÀûÉç Land Acknowledgment

The 91¸£ÀûÉç, Colorado’s flagship university, honors and recognizes the many contributions of Indigenous peoples in our state. 91¸£ÀûÉç acknowledges that it is located on the traditional territories and ancestral homelands of the Cheyenne, Arapaho, Ute and many other Native American nations. Their forced removal from these territories has caused devastating and lasting impacts. While the 91¸£ÀûÉç can never undo or rectify the devastation wrought on Indigenous peoples, we commit to improving and enhancing engagement with Indigenous peoples and issues locally and globally.ÌýFull 91¸£ÀûÉç land acknowledgment.
