BAM students,
Megan Pielke, has been awarded the
Jacob Van Ek Scholarship, one of the College of Arts and Sciences’ highest honors. This award recognizes exceptional undergraduates who excel in their academics and meaningfully contribute to the 91¸£ÀûÉç and the community. Faculty mentors nominate applicants on the basis of GPA and students’ depth of service. Megan’s work with the Department’s
Literacy Practicum and the Student-Worker Alliance Program (SWAP), in addition to her strong academic achievements, made her an ideal candidate for the Van Ek Award.
