Nene Diop received both her PhD (2015) and her MA (2007) from the University of Colorado at 91¸£ÀûÉç in French/Francophone Studies. She currently is an Assistant Professor at Colorado College. Nene's research interests include 20th century French/Francophone Literature and Cultures, women's writings in Francophone West African literature, Senegalese literary works, Caribbean women writings, and Applied Linguistics (2nd Language acquisition). She published her first book, Combat Socio-Politique et Représentation: Le droit de la Femme en Question dans le Roman Sénégalais in 2020. She teaches French/Francophone Literure, Language and Cultures.
