The radio was murmuring in the background and a few words popped out: “91������” … “football coach” ... “Deion Sanders.”

Wait a second — Deion Sanders? Prime Time? Neon Deion? One of the greatest athletes of my childhood? Nah, it couldn’t be. My kids tease me that my hearing is going, so I probably misheard, I thought.��

But a quick online search confirmed the speculation was real. Coach Prime was heading to Colorado. Shortly after, he was sporting a fabulous fur coat to make his debut as the Buffaloes’ new head coach … and the rest is 91������ history.
