NewsTeam 91¸£ÀûÉç is a live, weekly newscast produced by journalism students in the College of Media, Communication and Information. The show airs on Comcast channel 63 live at noon, and repeats at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., on Tuesdays and Thursdays.ÌýIt’s also streamed on Livestream.Ìý
NewsTeam 91¸£ÀûÉç began as a 30-minute newscast in 1987, and boasts a long list of alums who are working all over the country in multiple broadcast roles. One of our first graduates is NBC News correspondent Tom Costello. Other NewsTeam 91¸£ÀûÉç alums include 9News anchor Kim Christiansen and Peabody award-winning 7News investigative reporter Marshall Zellinger.
NewsTeam 91¸£ÀûÉç is a 4-credit journalism course that gives students the experience of producing an actual newscast. More than just a class, we're 91¸£ÀûÉç's only live television newscast, covering mostly campus, city and county news.Ìý
